Shipping and Delivery
Thank you so much for choosing Gryphon Estate Silver for your silver needs. We ship worldwide and are eager to assist you online at www.gryphonestatesilver.com or by phone at 828-688-9998.
At Gryphon Estate Silver we understand how fragile silver is and how important the proper packaging is in ensure safe delivery. Each item is wrapped and shipped with careful attention to avoid damage in transit.
Orders are shipped via UPS, unless otherwise noted. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been processed and shipped.
If expedited shipping is required, orders must be placed by 10am and it is recommended that you contact us to be sure your item is available for same day/expedited shipping.
Please note: Our shipping and handling charges for international orders do not include taxes, duties, or brokerage fees. These taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Please contact us prior to ordering to receive a quote for international shipping or shipping outside the Continental US.
Privacy & Security
When you place an order with us, Gryphon Estate Silver requests information from you that is required to complete your order. Gryphon Estate Silver never sells or exchanges any of our customer information. We recognize, as business individuals and a consumer, privacy is very important to our customers. Please be assured any information shared with Gryphon Estate Silver will be held in the strictest of confidence.
Returns
All estate silver has been meticulously restored by our master silversmiths, but due to the nature of estate and antique silver, small flaws may be present. Gryphon Estate Silver takes great pains to note any flaws on our items including multiple pictures in each listing. We do not accept Returns and/or offer replacements for non-damaged items. Please ask any questions about condition prior to placing your order. We want our customers to be satisfied, so please don’t hesitate to contact us.
If, however, your silver treasure has been damaged during the shipping process, please contact our staff immediately, 828-688-9998 or silversales@gryphonestatesilver.com to start a shipping damage claim. You must save ALL packing materials and the original box in order for a claim to be filed. We will work with you to resolve the issue in a timely and satisfactory manner. Because our sister company, Oexning Silversmiths, Inc. offers experts silver restoration services, in many cases, a damaged item can be repaired. If repair is not an option, then we will work with you on a replacement item or refund your payment.
Ordering
All Gryphon Estate Silver merchandise is subject to prior sale. Some items you desire may not be available when we receive your order. If some or all of the items of your order have been sold prior to receipt of your payment or are otherwise unavailable for sale, we will not charge you for items not available. You will receive a refund to the payment method used. You can also contact us if you would like us to find a suitable replacement item.
Some silver items may reflect slight variations in back stamp marks, weight, or size, depending on manufacturers’ changes in design, or the length of time in production.
Payments, Pricing & Promotions
Gryphon Estate Silver does not honor those prices which are the result of a typographical error or are obviously unrealistic, such as those made by computer or human error.
Layaway
As a convenience to our customers, we may offer a 90 day layaway option to ensure you can secure that special item. Please contact us at 828-688-9998 or by email silversales@gryphonestatesilver.com to request a layaway plan. Gryphon Estate Silver reserves the right to approve or deny layaway requests.
A credit card is required and if approved, we offer a 90 day layaway with a 30% non-refundable deposit. The remaining payments are conveniently auto-billed monthly to your credit card once a month for the next 60 days. Once your order is paid in full, we will ship it out you promptly and you will receive notice of the shipment with tracking information. You may pay your layaway off early at any time with no penalty by contacting us via phone or email.
PLEASE NOTE: Layaways that are canceled within the first 30 days will forfeit the deposit and in the last 60 days of the term, will incur a 15% fee in addition to the deposit forfeiture.
